* Chopped top OKAY* 1979 Older Cars only* No Modern Scoops or Snorkel* All cars should follow period correct theme including paint, primer, and graphics. Nothing modern.* Full body cars / Trucks with working doors. Fender less Coupes are allowed* Must have windshield and side glass, Plexiglas/Lexan ok) SUSPENSION / CHASSIS:Front Straight Axle/drop Straight axle only* No full round tube frame. Must be rectangle box main frame if non factory rear all 4-link/ ladder bar/traction bar suspension will be accepted. ENGINE /DRIVETRAIN/FUEL:* Any intake carb combo or period correct mechanical injection (no electronic injection allowed)* Pump gas, race gas, methanol or ethanol / E85 allowed no nitro/nitrous oxide.* Root style blower is fine, no modern turbos, centrifugal type blowers.* Aluminum radiators are ok* Aluminum blocks and or cylinder heads ok. Blocks must be painted.* NO starting line rev limiter’s / 2 step / throttle stops / or any other devices allowed period.* Only rpm limiting device allowed will be to protect engine from over revving.* No programmable electronic boxes.* NO transmission shift solenoid or assist must shift manually or allow transmission to shift itself.* Footbrake is preferred method of launching car! A trans brake can be used by itself, nothing to effect starting line rpm.* Any ignition box allowed as long as it’s only used to control distributor and high side engine protection, not to be used to control engine RPM, adjusting timing after starting the engine.* NO LS OR Coyote or late model hemi

* No air, hydraulic, or any other form of throttle stop allowed.Must be self starting, must drive under own power from pits to staging and back after pass. * No data recorders* No delay boxes allowed in car—no exceptions!* NEW, NO Long throw switches or adjustable line lock or trans brake switches which delay the car leaving the line.* Once you dial in no changing your et on your window. *Buy Backs: If you buy back you can not change your index number. The computer has your index locked in. * ALL NHRA SAFETY RULES ARE IN EFFECT. IT’S YOUR JOB TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE! * 7.49 and faster require a 6 point roll bar and up-to-date harness. * 6.49 and faster require a 12 point roll cage and up-to-date harness.* All drivers must wear seatbelts and helmet no matter what time you run. * If running slicks you must have legal studs and driveshaft loop maximum 6 inches behind universal joints at transmission. * Manual transmission must have blow proof bell housing (Again all! NHRA safety rules are in effect)* You must obey the rules of the track, we are running their track, their rules. * NO Crying allowed * If running for Points they stay with driver * Dial in every .10 to represent 6.0, 6.10, 6.20, 6.30, 6.40 ETC and on …. Once you dial in your car for the first round of eliminations that’s your number for the entire race. You can not change the dial in once the race starts.Rules are subject to change.
